What Lizards Do During a Storm...
I make it a point not to wash my truck unless it rains. It hasn't rained for some time and if you don't count snow, that is about 9 months ago. Today is a milestone of sorts. It rained - a little. But what was really impressive was the thunder and lightning show. First there was the howling wind. This is where everything that is not tied down (to include little 5lb dogs) blows away. We could see the storms coming from the north.
Before the rain actually got here, the special effects began. The following is a snipit of that show. I say snipit, because it is very tough to capture lightning. (NLM took the first several shots, NLL captured the remaining shots... and we were both beneath a sturdy structure ... the garage)

coooooooool photos! i always love lightning photos.

Wow … spectacular show today! I’ve tried but never been successful with catching shots of lightening but yours are impressive indeed. Thanks for sharing.
Hugs and blessings,
